slate roof. Large projecting rendered rubble lateral stack at the front and similar
stack at rear.
Originally 3 room and through-passage plan with hall and lower room (to the right)
heated by rear and front lateral stacks respectively. 1 room extension at lower end
probably C19. Re-fenestrated, passage removed, stairs inserted and doors blocked,
and room arrangements altered in c. mid C20.

top opening lights. Former enclosed gabled porch towards left end now has window on
the front. Projecting stack to right of centre beyond which is C20 glazed door
under gabled porch hood. To the right of that is the extension which is recessed.
Interior: The lower room fireplace has a chamfered wooden lintel with hollow step
stops and an oven in the right-hand side. To the left of the fireplace above the
present door is a chamfered wooden lintel also with hollow step stops, this would

A photograph of this house at the turn of the century shows it thatched with old
leaded casement windows and the original round-headed wooden doorframe to the left
of the front lateral stack.
