HER 2517 DESCRIPTION:-
A large picturesque gabled mansion dating from Tudor times, though the main portion was built by Sir Thomas Sackvilla in 1633, as shown by an armoral panel above the doorway. Not listed by Knowles & Hadcock. {Source Work 862.}
Bibury Court, now an hotel, is a fine example of a Tudor mansion, the oldest part of the building is at N end. It is outstanding.{1} There are no identifiable remains of the alleged monastic buildings. {Source Work 862.}
