HER 11849 DESCRIPTION:-
1990 - An Archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Gloucestershire County Council Archaeology Service between 01-18/07/1990. Amorphous deposits of soily gravel were visible in the section of footings trenches during observation of groundworks associated with development at Bristol Road, Stonehouse to the east of St Cyr's Churchyard. These were interpreted as posssible evidence of gravel quarrying of indeterminable date. {Source Work 2544.}
