Roman flue tiles found according to Rev Woolward of Ewen in 1932. {1}
Nothing is known locally of any finds in this area. The field is under pasture {2}
Field investigation by RCHM has not confirmed the existence of a building {4}.{3}
A Roman settlement complex at Ewen has been postulated by Miles on the basis of finds made in the area [see SU 09 NW 46] {Source Work 4249.}
