A ring ditch shows as a cropmark on aerial photographs (pers. comm. R. Hingley, GCCAS, 1983). {Source Work 3046.}
1993 - This area was mapped at 1:10,000 scale as part of the English Heritage: Thames Valley NMP project.
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible on aerial photographs at SU 1227 9935. This is as a circular enclosure, diameter 42m, defined by one ditch (Morph No. TG.127.3.1).
