HER 4728 DESCRIPTION:-
Two small square earthworks associated with an area of patterned ridge and furrow, visible on RAF APs {Source Work 864.} and covering in total an area of c1HA. Possibly minor area of former settlement? (no house sites as such visible).{pers comm S Brown}
2005 - Gloucestershire NMP (Cotswold & Forest of Dean)
"SP 0086 3016. At least five small rectangular platforms or enclosures, arranged in a compact group and surrounded by ditches, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. They are located on the southern edge of the village of Gretton, and probably represent Medieval or Post Medieval village remains or fields. The largest platform is 27m x 20m." {Source Work 4249.}
