Full description
1. CCC AFU carried out a watching brief at Denny Abbey during the erection of a fence to the rear of the barn. Fence postholes disturbed ground to the west of the trackway. Upper deposits contained modern rubbish. Also found were occasional fragments of pottery dated to 1150-1350 AD and 16th century red ware. Postholes penetrated clay natural. See also RN 05394.
