1. Cantilevered pillbox.

LOCATION: RAF Oakington

2.Group of pillboxes forming part of the perimeter defence to RAF Oakington and extant on the latest 2013 vertical photogaphy.

The pillbox, constructed during the Second World War and remaining in use afterwards, is visible as a structure with surrounding earthwork bank on air photographs, centred at TL 4170 6603. The outer bank extends to the north and includes a bunker or air raid shelter.
