The Tithe map of 1841 shows the fieldname "Culver Close" at Carminowe (b1) which suggests the site of a dovecote. Dowson in 1966 lists the site but records no extant remains of a dovecote (b2). The site is listed by Robertson and Gilbert in 1979 (b3).
