Full description
It is considered likely that Thomas's 1955 excavations revealed the original site of the medieval settlement of Godrevy. This belonged to Crane in Camborne hence the name, Crane Godrevy, which is first recorded in AD1334. Crane Godrevy was never a manor itself, and the name now survives as a fieldname recorded on the Tithe Map of 1840.
