Full description

Battery 'B', one of two batteries noted by Troutbeck, is recorded by the OS fieldworker (h1) as being only visible as a small bank, 8.0m long by 1.0m wide and 0.5m high. The 1908 OS map records it extending from Innisidgen Carn to the chambered cairn (7453. 01), but the battery has been partially destroyed since then (h1). This is one of a group of four batteries (7454). This site was visited in 1988 (h2) but no convincing evidence of a battery could be found; a bank running between Innisidgen Carn and the chambered cairn to the west appears to be a lynchet (see 7471).
The monument was included in the Schedule on 16/11/1998.

Not located in 2008-10 (4).
