Full description

A number of military buildings visible on aerial photographs (1-5) at RAF Cleave were plotted as part of the NMP. The number of buildings and the layout changes between 1941 and 1956, but there are roughly 70 buildings within the camp, split between the north and south edges of the airfield with further structures visible at the west end, close to the cliff edge. Two large hangars are described as a separate record (PRN 70538.8).
