Full description
Two circular structures, both of diameter 14m approx, are visible on air photos (1) in the northern complex at RAF Cleave. One is at the edge of the airfield, while the other is on the outer, northernmost edge of the camp. They are considerably larger than the similarly shaped gun emplacements sited on the western edge of the airfield, but this does not rule out a similar function. However, it is more likely that they are the remains of signal towers. They were plotted as part of the NMP.
