Full description
Site of Post Medieval gasometers. The second edition OS mapping shows three gasometers, with one recorded on the first edition OS mapping having been removed by that point. Digitised using the first and second edition OS mapping (b1).
The site is marked by a levelled area up to around 25m across, relatively well defined on the north where it is cut into the slope, but not so clear to the south. There appears to be no visible remains of the round structures (2).
This site indicates a private gasworks to the Tehidy Park Estate (3).
