Full description
Ten standing stones standing between Polruan and Lanteglos appear to form a group (b1). Barnatt comments that menhirs are rarely preserved in the non-granite areas of Cornwall and that the Lanteglos stones are rare examples of slate menhirs (b2). Two stones are still standing (b1), the others have probably been moved from their original sites. The high density of stones suggest these may have been part of a now demolished stone row, stone circle or chamber tomb (b3).
