Full description

The place-name Ednovean is first recorded as 'Eccl de Udnowparva' in 1291 suggesting the site of a church or chapel (b1). Padel says the name means 'Little Odenol', ie a sub settlement of 'Uthnoe' manor (b4) (29040). Ednovean is now a farmstead (b2).
