Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1982 - 1999, SX99NW2 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV341806.
1. Site of very doubtful barrow (A) recorded at this location by Shaw in 1934.
2. Site visit 02/08/1962. No obvious trace of mounds in positions given. Suggested that features were plotted in wrong field and that the mounds referred to by Shaw are in the field to the north.
3. Site visit 09/02/1982. No remains of barrows in positions given. Mounds are in the adjacent field. Barrow A is actually barrow C. Other details: Barrow A.
