The remains of two curvilinear earthwork banks, probably strip field boundaries of medieval origin, are visible on aerial photographs as earthworks immediately to the south of East Milford. The boundaries are not depicted on either the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch series map of the 1880s-1890s or the tithe map of circa 1842, and had therefore probably passed out of use by the start of the 19th century. The boundaries are visible on aerial photographs of 1978 but cannot be clearly seen in later years, but may still survive as low earthworks. Roughly the northernmost 30 metres of the eastern earthwork has probably been levelled by the expansion of the farmyard to the north between 2000 and 2007.
