A curvilinear bank, approximately 3 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It appears to follow the curve of the road and terminates at the location of a removed field boundary, and is likely to be a part of the medieval field system around Welsford. It is not depicted on the Tithe map of 1844 and probably fell into disuse by the mid-nineteenth century. The area has been developed with agricultural buildings and the bank has presumably been levelled.
