The banks do not correspond to any depicted field boundaries.

A single linear feature (interrupted) defined by 1 bank, max. length 512m, is visible as an earthwork bank and transcribed from aerial photographs dating to 1946. It is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval or later date.

The probable field boundary banks are not depicted on the Tithe map and are likely to have gone out of use by the mid nineteenth century. The maximum width is up to 14 metres, suggesting that the banks had been spread, perhaps by agricultural activity.
