The earthwork corresponds to a depicted field boundary.

The earthwork does not correspond to any depicted field boundaries.

A single linear feature defined by 1 bank, max. length 84m, is visible as an earthwork and transcribed from aerial photographs, and is interpreted as a former field boundary of medieval or later date.

No aerial photograph reference has been attributed to this site, but the earthwork bank corresponds to one of several parallel curvilinear field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map and recorded in MDV75355 as a medieval field system based on enclosed strip fields. It is not depicted in the 1800s-1890s Ordnance Survey map, and is likely to have gone out of use in the later half of the nineteenth century.
