Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The cropmarks do not correspond to any features depicted on the map.

An interrupted ordered, rectilinear linear system, 'field' size on average 209m by 72m. Visible as cropmark ditches and transcribed from aerial photographs taken in 1946, and interpreted as the remains of medieval or later field boundaries.

The features may predate the mid nineteenth century, as they are not depicted on the Tithe map. It is unclear how they relate to the probable medieval field boundares to the north (MDV103494), which they appear to cross or be crossed by.
