The cropmarks do not correspond to any depicted field boundaries.

An ordered, rectilinear linear system, 'field' size on average 92m by 71m. Visible as cropmark banks on aerial photographs taken in 1978, and interpreted as former field boundaries of medieval or later date.

The cropmarks do not correspond to field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map or any of the later available historic mapping, and they are likely to have formed over the banks of former field boundaries that went out of use by the mid nineteenth century.
