Name:Small cairn north-east of Standon Hill

Summary

A small stony cairn lies 100m NNE of Standon Hill tor cairn. Overlooking the gentle E flank of Standon Hill this feature measures 3.2m N to S by 3.5m and remains 0.4m high. There is no evidence to suggest the presence of a cist or kerb and the mound seems to be undisturbed.

(18/08/1998) SX 55598156. A small stoney cairn lies 100 metres north-north-east of the Standon Hill cairn. Overlooking the gentle east flank of Standon Hill this feature measures 3.2 metres north to south by 3.5 metres and remains 0.4 metres high. There is no evidence to suggest the presence of a cist or kerb and the mound seems to be undisturbed.
