Full description

19th century livestock building (B.A.R. 2.2.4.).

Cattle shed; Hayloft/tallet. A low gable-ended cow shed, which has one lofted bay to the east. Cob, rubble stone walls. Corrugated iron roof. Tie Beam Truss roof. 3-bay roof of tie beam trusses with bolted X- apexes. I set of back purlins and a diagonal ridge. Door/s; Metal framed windows/s. 2 plank, ledge and brace doors to front (north) with metal- framed window to right. Hayloft. A crosswall divides the building into a 2- bay area to the east and a 1 bay area to the west, which is lofted. The loft is accessible from the 2-bay shed. Currently used as a cow house.
