A catch-meadow of probable 19th century date is visible on aerial photographs of 1942 onwards as two earthwork ditches, to the northeast of Halwell Farm. The ditches are located along the hill slopes and appear to tap a spring-fed stream that flows down towards the northeast from its possible source at Halwell Farm. The catch-meadow comprises two parallel, linear ditches which appear to be levelled after 1947 and are not visible on more recent aerial photographs.
