Full description
Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database, BH138.4 (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.
Root store. Later used as a calf shed. The unlofted southern bay of the long range, which has a wide opening in the end wall, presumably for the loading and unloading of roots for cattle feed. It is separated from the stable by a brick partition wall. Chert, brick dressed walls. Slate roof. King post. Roof structure as in the threshing barn. Door/s. The door to the front has a solid frame and a plank door. There is a low, wide opening in the gable end wall (similar to ones at Bishopshayne and Osmore). Currently a cow house.
