Full description
Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database, BH151.9 (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.
Shippon. Later used as a milking parlour; shippon. A lofted shippon built up against the north end of the double-sided cattleshed. It is now gable-ended but was possibly half-hipped originally. It was converted to a milking parlour in the 20th century. Chert walls. Corrugated iron roof. A-frame 3-bays. 20th century A-frames which have been bolted together. Door/s; loading hatch; ventilator. North end doorway with a solid frame and a plank and ledge door. A tall window above was the loft loading doorway. The north gable end apex is now corrugated iron and includes a small hatch. There is a ground floor ventilator opening. Hayloft. There is one stub of a loft beam remaining. The walls are plastered, except the north wall. Currently disused.
