The possible bomb craters are visible as a series of earthwork pits

The possible bomb craters are visible as a series of earthwork pits.

The possible bomb craters are visible as largely in-filled earthwork pits.

A series of possible bomb craters of Second World War date are visible as earthwork pits on aerial photographs of 1943 onwards, to the southeast of Beacon Parks. The concentration of four circular earthwork pits measure between 6m to 13m in diameter and remain visible as earthwork pits, albeit largely infilled, on aerial photographs up until 1969. The bomb craters have been completely levelled on aerial photographs of 1989.
