A small structure, roughly 2.5 metres square, is visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1958. It is just visible, although unclear, on aerial photographs taken in 1947. Although it may be a Second World War military structure its location is not obviously defensive and it may be a modern store building for the golf course. It is not visible after the 1950s but remains may survive below tree cover.
