Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

Former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as earthwork banks on digital images derived from LiDAR data captured between 1998-2007, to the northeast of Home Farm. The three earthwork banks, which are northeast to southwest aligned and generally respect the historic field patterns, may form part of a medieval strip field system which passed out of use by the time of the 1838-48 parish tithe map. The slight earthwork banks were not clearly visible on aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey and, as such, may also be agricultural in origin.
