Broad and low parallel earthwork banks are visible on aerial photographs of the 1950s on either side of the Littleham Brook, Exmouth, covering areas of less than 1000 square metres adjacent to the lane known as Randall’s Green. The earthworks fall within small enclosed area symbolised as orchards on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25inch map and are probably the remains of former orchard banks of post-medieval date. They may have been more extensive than is visible on the available aerial photographs. The banks are not visible on aerial photographs of 2000. The former orchard north of the brook has been taken into arable cultivation and the banks to the south appear to have been levelled.
