Several curvilinear earthwork banks, up to 2.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 1963. Some are depicted on nineteenth century mapping, and their curvilinear form suggests they are medieval in origin. Those that are not depicted on historic mapping fit into this field pattern and are likely to be the remains of medieval field boundaries that went out of use by the mid nineteenth century, and these have been transcribed. The earthworks are not visible on later available aerial photographs and the area has since been developed.
