The former extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

An extraction pit of probable post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the southeast of Greenacres. The former clay or gravel extraction pit is oval in shape and measures approximately 25.5m in length by 19m in width. The extraction pit, which is located within an area dominated by similar such features, remains visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs up until 1989, although has been completely levelled and the site developed for housing by 1996.
