A curvilinear bank or lynchet up to 5 metres in width is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2006. It is parallel to the extant medieval field boundaries in this location and may be the remains of a lynchet or hedgebank of medieval origin. No boundaries are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping and it is therefore likely that this boundary passed out of use prior to the mid nineteenth century.
