An earthwork pit is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 1947. It is tentatively interpreted as an extraction pit that became disused prior to the late nineteenth century. It is now obscured by scrub.

A possible quarry is visible as an irregular earthwork pit, circa 16 by 45 metres in maximum visible extent, on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 1947. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping, so any quarry here would probably have passed out of use before the late nineteenth century. The area is now obscured by scrub but earthwork remains may survive.
