Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Lower Bearden depicted on the Tithe Map, 976 on the Peter Tavy apportionment - 'house and courtlage' (yard). This farm consists of a joined range of buildings around three sides of a central yard (south, east and north). The farmhouse is on the south of the yard.

Lower Beardon is depicted on the late 19th century historic map and appears unchanged from the Tithe Map depiction.
