Record ID 319. Year; 1972. Deposit location; ST 4319 2958. Deposit description; peat bed exposed by exceptional storms in March 1970. Collected and submitted by B.J. Williams (Institute of Geological Sciences).
ID 227. Laboratory code IGS-C14/42. Sample location; ST 4319 2958. Depth of sample; 2 m below high water mark. Dated sample description; wood from roots within peat. Uncalibrated date; 4995 ± 105 BP. Calibrated date; 3045 BC. Areas 2 and 3. Peat bed 0.6m thick.
