Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Possible former field boundaries of medieval date are visible as two levelled cropmark banks on aerial photographs of 1947 and 1967, off Knowle Lane. The heavily plough-spread and diffuse cropmark banks are both north to south aligned and closely respect the historic field patterns visible as a series of medieval strip fields on the parish tithe map, although both appear to have passed out of use by this time. Both cropmarks were visible on aerial photographs of 1967, with the eastern of the two boundaries also partially visible on aerial photographs of 1947.
