A previously unrecorded ring ditch of possible prehistoric date is visible as a cropmark ditch on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010, to the northeast of Sutton Barton. The cropmark is situated on gentle northwest sloping ground. It is fairly well-defined, although the southwest edge is less clear, and measures approximately 7.3m in diameter. The cropmark would appear to be of archaeological origin, possibly as part of a Bronze Age barrow and does not exhibit obvious agricultural or geological characteristics. It was not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
