Three parallel linear ditches, 3.5 to 9 metres wide, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010. They are parallel with, and manifest in the same way as, a removed field boundaries immediately to the west. The northern terminus of two of the earthworks corresponds to dog-legs in the field boundary to the north as depicted on the late-19th century mapping, and their alignment is in keeping with the surrounding field pattern. The earthworks themselves are not depicted on the Tithe Map, and they are interpreted as the remains of medieval field boundaries that passed out of use prior to the mid-19th century. Earthwork remains are very likely to survive.
