A ring ditch was visible on aerial photographs as a faint cropmark on a south facing slope to the east of Roosters Babylon. The cropmark is approximately three metres wide and encloses an oval area approximately 8 metres by 11 metres in size. It is possible that the cropmark is evidence of a barrow of Bronze Age date. A possible barrow cemetery is recorded from cropmark evidence some 400 metres to the east. No earthwork evidence of a possible barrow was visible on the lidar data available to the survey. It is possible the ring ditch is evidence of a possible barrow previously recorded as MDV58985.
