Cuc air photograph shows a broad roughly rectangular enclosure here, c.40m by 60m (griffith).

Cropmark of the recorded enclosure is ephemeral. Other cropmarks are also visible within this field but may be geological rather than archaeological in nature.

The rectilinear enclosure visible on aerial photographs taken in earlier years is visible on Google Earth imagery captured in 2020 as dark curvilinear cropmark. The north-east corner of a possible further rectilinear enclosure is visible as an indistinct dark cropmark approximately 35 metres to the east. However, there are numerous irregular cropmarks visible in this area that have probably formed over geological features, and interpretation is tentative.
