Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
A semi-circular field boundary is shown within the north-west corner of plot 357 on the Axmouth Tithe Map.

A semi-circular field boundary is shown within the north-west corner of plot 357 on the Axmouth Tithe Map of 1842. The scale and shape of the boundary indicates that it may be bounding a circular feature of possible archaeological origin, although there is no evidence of a feature in this location on the Tithe Map. The field still retains the same layout on the Ordnance Survey Master Map.
