1785, An Accurate Survey of the Barton of Coffleet, The Manor of Brixton English And the Manor of Spriddlestone In the Parishes of Brixton and Yealmpton in the County of Devon Belonging to Thomas Lane Esqr… (Cartographic). SDV357805.

A group of buildings are illustrated on the southern side of the lane in Spriddlestone.

A group of buildings are illustrated on the southern side of the lane within Spriddlestone.


Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The buildings are no longer present. The area is now shown as woodland.

A group of buildings are illustrated on the southern side of the lane in Spriddlestone on an estate map of the Manor of Spriddlestone dating to 1785. The buildings are also present on the 1839 Brixton Tithe Map where they are bordered by woodland to the south. The buildings are not present on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map (c.1880s) indicating that they have been demolished by this date. The area where the buildings formerly stood is now illustrated as woodland.
