1785, An Accurate Survey of the Barton of Coffleet, The Manor of Brixton English And the Manor of Spriddlestone In the Parishes of Brixton and Yealmpton in the County of Devon Belonging to Thomas Lane Esqr… (Cartographic). SDV357805.

The field is recorded as 'Quarry Park.'

Plot 102 is recorded as 'Quarry and Garden' within the Brixton Tithe Apportionment.

Plot 102 on the Brixton Tithe Map of 1839 is recorded as 'Quarry and Garden' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field is recorded as 'Quarry Park' on an earlier estate map of the Manor of Spriddlestone (1785), although no quarry is illustrated nearby. No quarry is clearly illustrated on the Tithe Map, but on the First and Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps (c.1880s and 1904-6) there is an inset area alongside the road on the western edge of the field, which appears to be illustrated as a quarry. The inset area is also outlined on the Ordnance Survey Master Map, although no topography is shown.
