Summary

A group of buildings forming an L-Shape and labelled as 'Beech Cottages' are depicted on both the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s and the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06. On the 1839 Newton Ferrers tithe map, the site comprises two discrete plots recorded as '7 Houses and Gardens' and '3 Houses and Gardens' on the tithe apportionment. These buildings are not in the same arrangement as on the 1st edition OS map and are presumably demolished or developed by this time. A number of the buildings remain extant on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap.

On the 1839 Newton Ferrers tithe map, the site comprises two discrete plots recorded as '7 Houses and Gardens' and '3 Houses and Gardens' on the tithe apportionment.
