Full description

Pink, F., 2014-2015, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey Desk-Based Assessment (Interpretation). SDV357736.

A quarry is depicted on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06, on Gunrow's Down. It is also depicted on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap. The NTHER records a possible WWII bomb crater here. However, it would seem likely that these represent the same feature, and hence the site is a quarry rather than a bomb crater.

Ordnance Survey, 2015, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV357601.

The quarry is depicted.
