The site of a limekiln is depicted within Plot 130 as a circular structure on the 1839 Kingston tithe map and recorded as 'Lime Kiln & Coppice' on the accompanying apportionment.

The site of a limekiln is depicted within Plot 130 as a circular structure on the 1839 Kingston tithe map.


Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

It appears to be replaced by a rectangular building on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

The site of a limekiln is depicted within Plot 130 as a circular structure on the 1839 Kingston tithe map and recorded as 'Lime Kiln & Coppice' on the accompanying apportionment. It appears to be replaced by a rectangular building on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s. The building appears to remain extant on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap. A second limekiln is also depicted on the parish tithe map to the southwest and has been recorded separately.
