Full description
Pears, B. + de-Villiers, S. + Passmore, A., 2014, The Former Fremington Army Camp, Fremington, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation and Historic Building Survey, Building 16 (Report - non-specific). SDV357013.
Cement-rendered laundry. Gabled roof under corrugated asbestos sheeting. Metal windows. Eight bays. Wooden door in the centre of the south-east elevation. Wooden double doors in the centre of the north-east and south-west elevations. About half the windows are boarded up.
Consists of two large rooms. The one to the east contains washing machines and tumble dryers. The ceilings are plaster with loft hatches.
